The weather this Saturday will be perfect for a visit to Lightfoot Farms Farmers Market 9am to 2pm, 7422 Ward Rd, Millington 38053, with 130+ vendors including food trucks! While you are out this way stop by to browse items at the winery from 9am to 1pm. We have a wide selection of wine decor items, jewelry, wine glasses, business items (boxes of t-shirt bags and thermal cash register rolls, beverage napkins) wine making supplies, artwork, furniture, appliances, household items, and more! It’s only 6 days until our “open house winery sale!” The winery will be open on April 5th from 9am to 1pm for you to shop for a variety of items including Old Millington Winery giftware/art items, and winery or household equipment/furniture. We sold a number of the larger items in the week following our post on March 16th, so updating the list and adding new items not previously posted. Lightfoot Farms will be holding their April Farmers Market that same day so come have a fun morning browsing all the goodies at Lightfoot and the winery! If you can't make it on April 5th and are interested in some of the larger items you can text 901-237-8874 to set up a time to meet in advance (let us know which items you are interested in viewing.) Note sending a message via messenger may result in a delayed reply!

Here is a partial list of some of the items we have for sale:

Bakers racks several sizes including: two black finish racks 35"x14"x54", one decorative rack (pictured), and more ranging from $25 to $60. Also two display racks are still available.

We still have a few 275 gallon IBC plastic totes with metal frames in excellent and good condition ranging from $75 to $100 each.

Three microwaves: two medium, one larger just $20 to $30 each.

Lots of framed artwork, some wine or music related including OMW Winestock posters.

Giftware including Old Millington Winery glasses, stoppers, t-shirts, fun wine signs. Most items just $1 to $3 each or less!

Wine making supplies including heavyduty table top corker, racking kits, test kits, several bags of 1000 corks. Great prices!

Several nice wooden church pews 60”x22”x32”, just $30 a piece.

Very nice stainless steel rolling beverage cart 40”x 22”x34” and large stainless steel serving bowl.

3 drawer metal filing cabinet 36"x18"x39" cream finish, good condition $70.

Various chairs and bar stools, including some cool barrel chairs priced from $10 to $30 a piece.

Business items- neon open sign, heavy duty cash drawer, driveway beeper, electronic Royal cash register all priced to go!

Portable dishwasher - standard size 24"x27.5"x36" $60

Wow it's hard to believe it has been 16 months since we sold our last bottles of wine and closed Old Millington Winery after 23 incredible years! We are so thankful for all of our loyal customers who supported us throughout the years!

We will open our doors on April 5th from 9am to 1pm if you are interested in picking up some Old Millington Winery giftware/art items, or winery and household equipment/furniture. Well we just sold the last 3 bottles of our muscadine wine to a nice lady about 20 minutes ago and so we are closing up…. It’s been a great adventure! Thanks for all of the nice comments and well wishes. All the best, Old Millington Winery ❤️

It’s been a great week yet again, we have sold out of our Blackberry, Our Plum, Maggie’s Rose and our Seyval. We only have about 10 cases of our Dancing Goat White Muscadine and 10 cases of our Dancing Hen Blush Muscadine wine left, so come on in today if you want a few bottles. They are both delicious and will make great holiday gifts! Sending our sincere thanks for the support of our many loyal customers throughout the years since October of 2000! As you can imagine we are looking forward to having Christmas week off work for the first time in 24 years!!
Please don’t ask questions on our post as I am not really good at being able to reply to your comments or questions as my social media skills are lacking but I like it that way! Just call if you have any questions 901-873-4114 (other than asking us what we are going to do as we have not made any plans yet and are weary of getting that question for the past month+!) however your many well wishes have been greatly appreciated since we posted the closing details earlier this month!!❤️☺️🍷

Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday were unbelievable sales days as we sold over 80 cases of wine every day!! We just bottled more 79 cases of Our Plum this morning, so come on in in the next day or two if you want plum as we expect it will be gone by sometime this Friday. We are running low on Blackberry and still have some white and blush Muscadine, Maggie’s Rose and a little of our dry white Seyval. We will not hold wine - so just come on in soon.
Our hours are
Wednesday 1pm to 5:30
Thursday 10am to 6pm
Friday 10am to 6pm
and if we are not out of wine Saturday 10am to 6pm

This is a bittersweet post, but mainly sweet for me and Perry! Many of you already know of our plans to close (for good) around the end of this year, but we are posting it now in case you have not heard. It is time for us to take time off and travel a bit while we are still healthy. No we don’t anticipate selling the winery; making wine takes years to learn unless you already have experience in this industry!

We are expanding our hours as of today going back to 5 days a week:
Wednesdays 1pm to 5:30pm
Thursdays 10am to 6pm
Fridays 10am to 6pm
Saturdays 10am to 6pm
Sundays 2pm to 5pm

We currently have a good inventory of Our Plum, Christmas Cranberry, Blackberry, Muscadine, Maggie’s Rose and our dry white Seyval. Please don’t ask us to hold wine as we don’t want to keep up with who asked us to hold what! That being said we think we will have enough wine to last for several more weeks, close to Christmas. Many of you have a tradition of giving our wine as holiday gifts so we recommend you come in soon if you want to pick up some of our wine for Christmas. We will continue to do tastings on Wednesdays to Saturdays up to 4pm until December 20th but reserve the right to suspend tastings if we are too busy selling wine! Sending a heartfelt thanks to all of our loyal customers who have supported us for the last 23+ years, and wishing you all a peaceful holiday season!

Well fall has finally settled in and Thanksgiving is just 6 days away! We will be open next Wednesday, November 22nd 10am to 5 or 6pm (depending on traffic) as the day before Thanksgiving has always been the busiest sales day of the year, but we will not be doing tastings that day. We will be closed Thanksgiving day and open back up Friday and Saturday from 10am to 6pm. In December we will start to add additional days of Wednesday and possibly Sunday afternoons but will update again when we determine what our hours will be on those days. Yes we have plenty of Our Plum, Christmas Cranberry, Blackberry, Muscadine, but only a small amount of Sweet Watermelon remains. Come in and get a few bottles of wine for your Thanksgiving gatherings. Happy Thanksgiving!🦃 OMW.

For those who have been waiting for our other favorite holiday seasonal wine, wait no more, our Christmas Cranberry has been bottled and is on the shelf! It’s lightly sweet and tart - so refreshing and perfect for your holiday dinners and parties!!

Okay who is ready to go plum crazy 🤪 over some Old Millington Winery Our Plum wine 🍷 ? Yes we bottled the first of our plum wine this morning and we have it ready for you to come grab several bottles or a case ☺️.
We still have a few cases of Delta Peach and Sweet Watermelon but they won’t last long, so get some peach and watermelon when you come in - don’t wait a month and then cry when we are out! Yes we have blackberry, muscadine and your other OMW favorites. We hope to have the Christmas Cranberry bottled in about 3 weeks…..

Muscadines are at their peak and ready to pick, “you pick” for just $7 per gallon or $25 for 5 gallons (buckets not included but we can loan you ours while you are picking!) Come enjoy this great weather and have fun picking muscadines to make jelly, juice or your own wine, or for just eating! They are delicious 😋!

The muscadines are at their peak; we have had a number of folks picking over the last week but there are still plenty on the vines!
“You pick” $7 per gallon or $25 for 5 gallons. Great for making jelly, juice or wine. The weather is perfect to bring the kids or grandkids to help pick a mess of muscadines 😊.
