From 2014-2022, he proudly owned and managed Triangle Sales in Oklahoma.

Jim grew up in a multi-generational livestock and farming business, but his passion has always been horses. Specializing in cutting, racing, and ranch horses, Jim has been an AQHA and NCHA member since childhood. With over 50 years of experience in livestock marketing, Jim has personally produced hundreds of equine auctions and managed the sale of thousands of horses in his lifetime. Jim was a fou

nding member and past president from 2000-2012 of Western Bloodstock, the official auction company of the National Cutting Horse Association. Jim continues to expand his business ventures, which include equine promotion, private treaty brokerage, consultation, appraisal, and stallion syndication services. He has been a prominent supporter of equine science programs at Texas A&M University, Tarleton State University, and Colorado State University. Although he hasn't competed in the show arena recently, he still enjoys trail riding and personally caring for the broodmares and foals on his Texas ranch where he has lived with his wife, Carolyn, since 1999.
