We'd proud to share another beautiful, meaningful landmark on High Street!🤩

Several years ago we worked with Glasstown Arts District, Millville to request proposals from artists in our area to design a mural that would represent the diversity of the city, historic figures and the glass industry, the Maurice River, arts, theater and culture, and the hope of our future resting with our children.

Marcos Monteiro of Mays Landing was selected as the mural finalist. In order to understand the past, present, and future of Millville, he engaged the community through five focus groups and ultimately painted a prominent mural—88 feet long by 25 feet high—that's clearly visible to everyone driving or walking on High Street.

We named it the Gateway Mural and dedicated it to our community on December 1, 2016.🎉

Today we're proud to shine our Local Business Spotlight on Full Circle Training LLC at 14 East Mulberry Street in Millville!🔆

True to entrepreneurship lore, Traci and Lisa founded Full Circle Training at the kitchen table, and they've grown the company into an integral part of our healthcare community. In fact, Full Circle Training now is an official training site with American Heart Association: You're the Cure!

As we look forward to the summer and feel a sense of optimism for our community, we wanted to share a point of pride for us at HCDC.😎

We are the Neighborhood Preservation Program ("NPP") Coordinator for the City of Millville, and this year we directed funding from NPP and the related Coronavirus Relief Fund to retain 88 full-time jobs and 22 part-time jobs across 32 businesses here.✅

We're thrilled with this outcome and humbled by the resilience of our downtown business district during an unprecedented year.

But we won't stop there! Stay tuned for further NPP updates and funding opportunities for Millville!
