Investing in the Next Generation: Why Internships Matter
One of the most rewarding parts of being a CEO is seeing young people gain confidence as they learn, build, and take on new challenges.
Every year, we have an opportunity to give students something that cannot be fully taught in a classroom: real-world experience.
Our interns came from different backgrounds and joined us with different levels of experience. Some worked with us in person, while others participated remotely. What they had in common was curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the courage to take on something new.
Watching them learn our tools, work through challenges, develop their projects, and present their final work has been incredibly rewarding.
I am especially pleased that some of our interns will continue their learning experience with Quantum3D on a part-time basis, allowing them to build on what they learned this summer while continuing their education.
I believe companies have an important role to play in preparing the next generation—not only by sharing technical knowledge, but by giving students the opportunity to work on real projects, learn from experienced professionals, and understand how technology is applied in the real world.
As a company based in Milpitas, we are especially proud to support students in our local community through our partnership with the City of Milpitas. Creating connections between students, local industry, and the community is an important part of building the next generation of talent.
To all of our 2026 interns, congratulations on completing the summer program. I am proud of what you've accomplished and grateful that Quantum3D could be part of your learning journey.
For those continuing with us part-time, I look forward to seeing how you continue to learn, grow, and contribute.
When we invest in young people, we are not only helping them build their future—we are helping build the future of our industry.
