Charter Next Generation is proud to produce Solar Shrink Mulch Film Metalized, a reflective mulch film laid over raised beds for the growing season. Its metallic surface reflects solar radiation to keep root-zone temperatures lower during the critical establishment period, while the dark underside retains warmth when temperatures drop.

A University of Florida field trial, found that fully metalized mulch, compared to standard black film, reduced afternoon root-zone temperatures by up to 3.7 degrees during October establishment and delivered 11 to 22% more early-season marketable fruit, with no change in fruit size, quality, or flavor.

Built stronger, using less material per acre, and designed for mechanical retrieval to reduce end-of-season labor.
