WOODY'S ON THE WATER is back in Twin Lakes!!

Slated to open this summer, in partnership with Chef Justin Johnson of Sustainable Kitchens, Woody's will reopen its iconic Lake Mary location with a full bar, open patio, Tiki bar and a full kitchen, serving our take on lakeside, farm-to-table, supper club-style fare. We are currently interviewing for all positions, including managers, chefs, cooks, servers, bartenders, hosts and dishwashers.

Let there be no rest for scratch cooking! Love this Pantry Makeover Project we’ve been rocking for Lawrence University since last summer. Teaching students, specifically, residents of the amazing Fox Commons in Appleton how to do some serious cooking in their dorms without hitting up the Kwik Trip or drive-thru for every meal. (Nothing wrong with Kwik Trip, but sometimes cooks gotta cook!)

Developing and activating food operations doesn’t necessarily stop at kitchens. For the past couple years, we have been working with the amazing Eisenhower (IKE) Center in Milwaukee to develop a dry blend co-packing line to help small businesses and local producers package their goods and give jobs to people with disabilities. The learning curve was steep and hurdles were many but it was deeply satisfying to fire up the system today and see it all come together!! We are at the finish line and ready to launch!

Time to dust off the butane burners and sharpen the knives! It’s the annual High School Culinary competition! This year, hosted by the amazing ! .kitchens is once again honored to serve on the judges panel for this inspiring competition! Congrats to for taking home the coveted trophy!!

Kicking off a new project with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction with a visit to the awesome kitchen at Black River Falls High School! Amazing team and a delicious Pesto Chicken on offer today!

Last week, we did a two-for! Back to back meal workshops , first for families, then for Teen Night! Participants made their own Burrito Bowls, Açaí Bowls and fresh Spring Rolls! So much fun!

Our next Teen's Night Out event is Thursday, February 19 from 6:30 – 8:00pm! Join us for Kitchen Takeover, where teens will learn how to make a nutritious meal from scratch with Sustainable Kitchens, gain new cooking skills, and then taste their delicious creations. Attendees will also have plenty of time to connect with other teens, hang out, and explore our interactive exhibits.
