Last week, the Mueller Communications team was excited to attend Literacy Services of Wisconsin’s annual gala: Illuminating Literacy. The event raised $124,770 to support adult education programs.

The evening underscored LSW’s vital work providing essential educational resources and skills training to more than 1,200 adult learners annually across Southeastern Wisconsin.

From live art created in real time by acclaimed Milwaukee artists to celebrating student scholarship recipients and volunteers, the event beautifully highlighted the critical importance of literacy and how access to education creates independence and new opportunities for adult learners.
