Join Us in Making History – Rotary Club of I-94 Inclusive Inaugural Ceremony

I am deeply grateful to the community members who answered my call to stand for diversity, inclusion, and belonging by helping charter the Rotary Club of I-94 Inclusive.

Our mission is to increase our impact through stronger community presence, expand our reach by diversifying membership, and create new pathways into Rotary through openness, accessibility, and engagement. With membership at just $26 per month, we aim to increase participation and make Rotary more welcoming to all who want to serve.

As District Chair of Membership Enhancement & Participant Engagement, I am committed to developing I-94 Inclusive into a hub of opportunities for personal growth, professional networking, leadership, and meaningful service.

At the Rotary Club of I-94 Inclusive, we are building:

* A culture of innovation and thoughtful risk-taking
* Stronger governance, structure, and effective processes
* Diverse perspectives in leadership and decision-making
* Greater opportunities to serve communities along the I-94 corridor and beyond
* Increased support for Rotary’s mission, including our fight to eliminate polio worldwide

am proud to give back to my home country of Senegal by empowering its youth through entrepreneurship. It is crucial to help them thrive within Senegal rather than facing the uncertainties of migration. Through the Multicultural Kids Network, we are dedicated to supporting underprivileged, underserved, and underrepresented Senegalese youth, providing them with the tools and resources they need to become successful entrepreneurs in their own communities. We welcome and seek partnerships and support from individuals and organizations who share our vision of fostering sustainable growth and opportunity in Senegal. Together, we can create a brighter future for the next generation.

Samba Fall is an accomplished and dedicated community leader with deep roots in both Sénégal and Minnesota. Having immigrated from Sénégal 25 years ago, Samba Fall has spent decades fostering community engagement and advocating for equity and opportunity in Minnesota. A proud alumni of the University of Minnesot
Samba's academic achievements laid a strong foundation for a career marked by public service and leadership.

Appointed by Governor Tim Walz, and the lieutenant governor Peggy Flanagan, Samba Fall serves on the Minnesota Emerging Entrepreneur Board, where they work to support and uplift emerging business owners across the state. In addition, Samba Fall holds appointments from the Commissioner of the Department of Human Services (DHS) on both the Human Service Advisory Council and the Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) Council, contributing valuable insights into human services and developmental interventions.

Further cementing their commitment to racial equity and community representation, Samba Fall was appointed by all seven Hennepin County Commissioners to the Race Equity Advisory Council, where he currently serve as the council's secretary. This role involves advising on policies and initiatives aimed at addressing systemic inequities and promoting racial justice within the county.

In the political arena, Samba Fall is running as an incumbent candidate for the 2024 Maple Grove City Council, aiming to continue their work in making the community more inclusive and responsive to the needs of all its residents.

Professionally, Samba Fall serves as a Career Navigator for the Dislocated Worker Program at Goodwill, assisting individuals in overcoming job loss and finding new employment opportunities. He also hold the esteemed position of President of the Senegalese American Chamber of Commerce in Minnesota, where he work tirelessly to support and connect the Senegalese American community with broader economic and business opportunities.

Through these varied roles, Samba Fall exemplifies a deep commitment to service, equity, and community development, striving to make Minnesota a better place for all its residents.
