Meals on Wheels & More in Anoka County has been delivering meals in my community for over 50 years. They serve 350+ meals per day Monday through Thursday, and over 750 meals on Fridays. They serve all of Anoka County & Champlin and have 450+ clients.

The C**n Rapids Rotary Club is proud to partner with the organization each year to assist with delivering Meals on Wheels Blizzard Bags filled with non-perishable food items for their program participants living in our community.

My son Will and I had the privilege of attending the Pavek Museum’s Connecting Conversations lecture series on February 21st. My good friend Freddie Bell, KMOJ CEO and General Manager shared his vision behind the KMOJ forever home and discussed the theme “The Future Generation is Now.”

Former WCCO-TV Anchor Don Shelby served as the moderator for a question and answer session with Freddie Bell.

I have been truly honored for the opportunity to serve on the KMOJ Community Advisory Committee over the past 9 years.

The Pavek Museum is thrilled to bring back our public lecture series, Connecting Conversations for a third year of programming! To remind you, we have two seasons annually, with three speakers each season. Check out who we’ve booked so far:

February 21, 2026 – Freddie Bell presents KMOJ: The Future Generation is Now - Discover the vision behind the KMOJ forever home and explore the theme “The Future Generation is Now.” Freddie will share powerful insights on building spaces where young people can thrive, take risks, and grow confidence.

March 21, 2026 – Peter Lonnquist presents 50 Years of Consoles, Computers, and Handhelds: The Convergence of the Steam Deck - This presentation will explore consoles, computers, peripherals, and handheld gaming hardware, tracing 50 years of shared ideas, experimentation, and cross-pollination that ultimately converged in the commercially successful Steam Deck.

Each presentation is roughly one hour and included in Pavek Museum admission ($12 for adults, $7 for military and students under 18, and always FREE for Pavek Museum members).

The community came out tonight despite cold temps for the City of C**n Rapids Tree Lighting along with a fireworks display

A heart warming afternoon spent in the community in collaboration with Meals On Wheels of Anoka County organization and the C**n Rapids Rotary to deliver Blizzard Bags to our community's Elders before the coming winter months arrive. Each Blizzard Bag consists of three days of non-perishable food.
