Here to share about the NAPO Minnesota Chapter is current president Sheila Halek!
Tell us about yourself:
"I was previously Vice President/President Elect for two years. I have been a NAPO member since 2018. I'm a solopreneur with the exception of having my husband's help when I need muscle or a custom closet built for one of my clients.”
What makes your chapter special?
"It sounds cliche' but our people make our chapter special. We are hearty people (you have to be when you live in this climate) and we returned to in-person meetings quickly after COVID and haven't stopped since. All of our meetings are in person - nothing virtual. In 2024, we will are celebrating 30 years as a NAPO Chapter! We still have one founding member in our Chapter, Louise Kurzeka, and she is full of a wealth of knowledge that we regularly get to glean information from. Louise is pictured in back with the red blazer."
Are there any star volunteers you'd like to shine a light on?
"CariAnne Kestrel. She is a newbie (within the last year) but from the minute she became a member, she consistently volunteers to help out with the welcome table at Chapter meetings or greet people as they come in. She is always ready to help with a smile on her face.
