What an honor it was to receive best picture in the 48 Hour Film Fest (along with best cinematography by Billy Straub), a special thanks to all those who participated and worked hard on this film and all those who entered with their own story to tell. There is a lot of talented people here in MN and I encourage all to continue to pursue making more films!

Feathered Hat Productions will go on to represent Minneapolis at Filmapalooza this spring! "Contractions" will screen alongside the best films from 130 cities who are participating in the 48HFP 2017 tour.

Keep your eyes on the page to see how they fare-- they may even make it to Cannes!

To all this who have, are, or will be serving in our military. I want to thank each and every one of you for the sacrifice you take upon yourself. I wish both you and your families the best in life, and hope those who are currently serving or will be, to please be safe and return home. For those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, all I can say is thank you, and I hope our fellow Americans will remember your sacrifice and take their actions into account, that you believed in this nation and that their actions will reflect positively on what you have done for us.
For all, I say God Bless you and all those around you. Be a pillar of light, do not get distracted by materialistic possessions or what the media tells you. Be the change you want for this country, we are all brothers and sisters. Again, thank you for all you have done.
