It's Monday morning here in Brooklyn Center, MN. The time of celebration and giving of Thanks is past...but is it really? Thankfulness needs to be a part of our daily lives. And yes, some days it feels like we have to look beyond the day to find something to be thankful for, but truthfully each day is a gift.

I hope that you had a wonderful time with family and friend and if you are reading this, you survived 'black friday'. One of the joys of seeing family and friends this time of year is knowing that you might get to see them again at Christmas.

Happy Thanksgiving from Minnesota!

As many of us gather with family and friends (and a couple enemies), let's remember all the things that we have to be thankful for. For those of you who are missing some people from the table because they are serving our great country, or perhaps they are struggling against sickness, I encourage you to pray for them and pray for America.

Enjoy your food and the blessings that have been shared with you.

As you settle down to desert, if you have purchased a pie from me, I pray that you will it enjoy it. If you are willing, please let everyone know that they, too, can purchase this great pie from Lucas the Pie Guy for their Christmas family gathering.
