To be transparent we are not ok. Since December, Minneapolis has been experiencing a federal occupation in our city and state. Our neighbors have been terrorized, kidnapped and killed by state sanctioned violence. But this is not new to Minnesota & our country.
We have been standing in solidarity with our neighbors and doing what we can to keep each other safe. Our city has inspired the nation with our resistance and joy.
Minneapolis Photobooth Co. was born out of the desire to bring joy to our communities. Our success and ability to achieve this is deeply intertwined with our city, local partners and neighbors.
Like many small businesses, we are facing additional safety concerns, canceled events, less bookings and additional expenses. We ask you to join us in continuing to show up to support local businesses - especially those most vulnerable. Please support in the ways you can (I.e. supporting local businesses, donating to on the ground efforts to serve impacted families, seek out accountability from your local and state officials to abolish ICE, etc.).
Even though our solidarity looks a bit different at this time, we’re proud to stand with our Minneapolis community.
