Principals: Charles M. and Robin King Cooper, Ph.D. Mel Gray is well-known in the non-profit community for his ability to apply evaluation and cost-benefit analysis expertise to the demands on non-profit organizations for cost effective and evidence-based services. As a professor of business economics, he teaches non-profit management, strategy, evaluation, and outcomes identification and measurement. The Editor of Nonprofit Management and Leadership, Mel is on the cutting edge of research on non-profit organizations and the applications to current challenges in the world of non-profits. Mel combines incisive analysis with practical judgment and clear communication to help organizations achieve greater success in today's challenging nonprofit environment. Robin King Cooper is a licensed psychologist with the unique career experience of combining a clinical private practice with an international industrial-organizational practice. As an executive coach and senior consultant, Robin worked with individuals and teams at the executive and management levels to enhance their leadership effectiveness. Robin uses astute individual and team assessment skills to craft development plans that consider organizational culture and business strategy as well as individual career development objectives. Mel Gray has a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University. He is a Professor of Business Economics in the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, MN, where he also holds an appointment as Senior Fellow in the Center for Nonprofit Management. He is immediate past Editor of Nonprofit Management and Leadership, a leading research journal sponsored by the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations, Case Western University. He is a member of the Academic Advisory Council of the National Center on Nonprofit Enterprise. He is a board member of Tubman and the Chair of Strategic Planning. He is past Chair of the Board of Trustees for Zenon Dance Company, Caravan Dance Company, and Unity Church - Unitarian. Robin King Cooper has a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Counseling Psychology. She is a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota and maintains a private practice at Psychological Associates in St. Paul. She was a Senior Consultant at Personnel Decisions International (now PDI Ninth House) for 15 years where she served client organizations in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. She has been an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at University of St. Thomas and also has taught at the University of Minnesota, Metro State University, and the Union Institute. She has served on the boards of Minnesota Women Psychologists, Society for Psychoanalytic Studies, National Council of Jewish Women, Minneapolis Section, and as President of Mayim Rabim Congregation.
