From military brass repurposed into currency to classic American glassware and Silver Age comic nostalgia, these rare dealer finds offer a stunning glimpse into the mid-20th century.

🪙 A 1955 Nepal 4 Paisa bullet coin, commonly referred to as a "Bullet Paisa." The unique center-holed brass coin was minted from repurposed World War II r***e cartridge casings to commemorate the bravery of Nepalese Gurkha soldiers. $39 from dealer #44.

🥤 Vintage heavy-duty Coca-Cola glass mugs fully hallmarked by Libbey Glass Company under official license. Molded in the classic "Georgia Green" tinted glass, they feature the cursive script logo and contoured bottle silhouette. $4.50 each from dealer #56.

🥛 These are mid-century modern tumbler glasses fully hallmarked by the Libbey Glass Company in their highly collectible Riviera pattern. Produced between the 1950s - 1970s. $10 each from dealer #23.

🦇 A 1966 "Adventures of Batman" softcover coloring book published by Whitman Publishing under official license from DC Comics. The cover art depicts Batman and Robin riding in the iconic Batmobile with the classic silver-age character styling. $18 from dealer #53.

Learn the basics of identifying and appraising antiques, art, jewelry, coins, and collectibles. Get tips on what makes things valuable and the best ways to sell them. No books in this class, everything is “hands on”. Examine things like lithophane, trench art, precious gemstones, rare coins, sterling silver & German silver. Bring a magnifying glass if you have one. Instructor David Schlueter is a Certified Antique Appraiser.

WWII Imperial Japanese Army Mess Kit: Known traditionally as a Hango (飯盒), this kidney-shaped aluminum rice cooker is a classic piece of military history. Value: $60.00

Harry the Hairless Horse vintage mid-century rocking horse manufactured by Train-Rite in Maple Plain, Minnesota. See the inset photo of the girl when she got it for Christmas, the rocking horse is on the very left. Value: $50.00

1920s Sears "Our Famous Fairy Princess" Doll: This vintage composition child doll was originally sold through the Sears, Roebuck & Co. mail-order catalog for just $7.95 postpaid. In impressive, well-preserved condition, it remains highly collectible. Value: Up to $200.00

WWI U.S. Army Sweetheart 2" Compact/Locket: A beautiful, gold-filled multi-panel folding compact featuring a hand-engraved shield with the Field Artillery crossed-cannons insignia. Soldiers bought these romantic keepsakes to send home to loved ones during wartime. Value: About $150.00

Bring your mystery piece to explore its history and value. Certified art and antique appraiser David Schlueter will investigate the artist, medium, and age to help unlock the hidden story of your treasure. Bring one or two pieces; each person will have 15 minutes.

Minnesota’s largest juried art exhibition showcases over 300 elite, state-wide artworks inside a historic 1907 building. Visitors can explore diverse mediums, participate in an all-ages art detective game, and watch daily live artist demonstrations.
