We seek a General Manager for an amazing opportunity to develop and lead a top-rated location and to join a firm that values employees. This position is well suited to an experienced fine-dining restaurant General Manager who shares our belief that guests and staff are at the heart of a business.
General Manager Duties include:
Operations
- Oversee general operations incorporating a strong presence on the floor and time management to complete behind the scenes duties
- Participate in planning and ex*****on of special events
- Monitor and control labor costs, budgets, and cost of goods
- Lead and deliver strategic planning objectives
- Monitor front and back of house ordering and inventory
- Ensures the venue complies with health and legal regulations through enforcing sanitation standards and maintaining a safe, secure, clean, and healthy environment
- Upholds optimal restaurant cleanliness, appearance, upkeep, and maintenance
- Effectively communicate with leadership about store status, ongoing issues, and needs
Team Management
- Hire, train, coach, and manage hourly and management team members
- Lead weekly management meetings with a focus on staff development, goal setting, planning, and accountability, including a detailed review of store financials
- Review and approve staffing needs
- Responsible for the timely completion and accuracy of payroll processing
Guest Experience
- Enhance guest experience on a daily basis.
- Be present, engage with guests, and address incidents and service issues
- Build long-lasting guest relationships and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with the marketing team in responding to online reviews and with the creation of social media posts and events
Qualified General Managers have 5+ years of fine or casual-fine dining leadership experience. This position is well suited to a General Manager that has managed a high-volume location with the ability to be engaged on the floor during restaurant operations while staying organized with management responsibilities.
