Due to Covid 19 and the increased security of EMV (chip cards) the 4 major cardbrands (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Amex announced that business are no longer required to obtain a signature for credit card transactions. Stay safe!

Using a processor that is partnered with your bank seems like a good idea but keep in mind your bank may be looking at it as another fee income. I worked in the bank relationship division for several years and many of the relationships were money driven. They are making a profit on your account. I use that would be profit to give back to my customers. That is why my rates and fees are lower and I will never increase them.
