📢 Minong Transfer Station Update
August 5
26- August 29

🕘 Hours: Wednesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Current Bin Status:
✅ Compactor – Empty
✅ Recycling Bins – Empty
✅️ Scrap Metal Bin – overfull. No scrap metal of any size until emptied. Thank you.
Friendly Reminders:
• Municipality card holders must present their card at check-in.
• Household recycling is FREE.
• Household trash goes in the compactor only.
• No construction debris or large bulky items in the compactor.
• Brush pile is available for municipality card holders ($2 per load).
• Brush disposal fees are pinned on our fb page for non card holders.
• Non-cardholders are charged 50¢ per pound for trash (cash or check only).
• Please pay for any disposal before unloading in designated area ex. Tires,aplliances, electronics, furniture etc. ( disposal fees are pinned on our fb page )

We often get asked where to bring construction debris, demolition material, furniture, and other large items that we are unable to accept in the compactor at the Minong Transfer Station.

The closest landfill to our area is:

🗑️ Republic Services Lake Area Landfill

Please contact them directly regarding accepted items, pricing, and hours before making the trip.

Just a reminder:
🚫 The Minong Transfer Station compactor is for household trash only.
🚫 No large construction debris in the compactor.
🚫 No furniture or oversized items in the compactor.
