Don’t forget we offer Deer Aging Service powered by DeerAge! When you bring your animal into us to be mounted, we will offer this service at an additional charge. We will collect the sample from your deer and send the sample to DeerAge. Once results are completed, a printed certificate will be mailed directly to the customer that can be framed and shown off next to your mount.

Happy opening day! Just a few reminders as the season starts:
- We operate on an appointment only basis so if you have a deer that you want mounted, be sure to contact me to set up a drop off time
- 50% deposit will be required for all mounts this year
- Field care is key to ensure a quality mount! Keeping the cape/deer cold and dry are extremely important. Refer to the photos below for field care and caping tips. The better you treat your cape after harvest, the better the finished product will be!

Good luck and stay safe this season! We look forward to preserving your harvest!

Ever seen a one-armed squirrel wearing a cowboy hat, rocking a bandana, and packing a six-shooter? Well, now you have! Meet June, our new Price Taxidermy mascot!

Ever since I started Price Taxidermy, my wife has wanted a squirrel mount exactly like this. So, naturally, she decided to mount one herself!

WE MOUNT ’EM ALL…EVEN THE NUTTY ONES! 🌰🐿️

Below you will see our pricing sheet for the 2026-2027 deer season! I have only posted pricing for deer as that is primarily what I take in, but I will take in other projects as well, which will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.

You will notice a small price increase on all mounts, this was carefully thought about and broken down to keep the lowest price for my customers. I have always made reasonable pricing a priority and with the local average price of a shoulder mount being $1,136, this still stays true. This combination of affordable pricing, quality of work, and reasonable turn around times are all a reason to choose Price Taxidermy! As always, we appreciate your business & good luck this season!

Just got back from the 2026 Missouri Taxidermist Competition and Convention, the amount of entries and level of competition was impressive! Lots of hours went into this piece I entered into the competition and I received lots of great feedback from the judges and other competitors! It was a great weekend and can’t wait to put everything learned this weekend to use and continue to improve!
