Two ✌🏼of my favorite things:

1. I love when products perfectly fit into a bin. 😍

2. A solid color gradient for products. It makes getting ready more exciting when your products look good too! 😉

It was a fairly full and eventful week this week! Filled with getting new and returning clients on the schedule, doing final touches on a garage, event planning, and finished out the week with organizing a kitchen, bathroom, and hall closet!

Katie has gone above and beyond in her work supporting our consumers through decluttering and organizing their homes. As the owner of Ready, Set, Release LLC, an organization that helps people organize their living spaces, she has made a real difference for people with disabilities who are at risk of institutionalization.
With a gentle, compassionate approach, Katie meets people where they are, understanding that mental health is deeply connected to independence and daily living. Her patience, kindness, and heart shine through in everything she does. Whether she is helping someone navigate the emotional challenges of hoarding or finding creative ways to make daily life easier, she always brings positivity, respect, and understanding. She does not just help people clean their spaces, she helps them reclaim their confidence, their routines, and their independence.
Katie believes that disability does not limit what people can do, it simply means finding a different way to do things. She believes everyone deserves support, dignity, and the opportunity to live fully in their community.

I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t feel weird to post this- but I’m so grateful. 🙏🏼 Last month, I was awarded as Advocate of the Year through Independence Inc.

I have been working alongside Independence, Inc., a Resource Center for Independent Living to help individuals in our community to become more independent, reclaim their homes from years of collection and clutter, and make their house feel like home again. 🏡

I have nothing but great things to say about this agency and the work they do to rebuild our community into something we can be proud of. They work hard to find all the resources available to their clients. They provide a foundation for people to find their footing in a world where it’s easy to lose balance in life.

This life, this ‘job’, none of it would be possible without you. So thank you. Thank you for following along and reaching out for help even if that means being vulnerable. I appreciate all of you. ❤️

✋🏼Hey Minot Peeps!!

This upcoming week is the perfect time to get rid of that paint and hazardous materials!

We LOVE a FREE declutter!!😍

While you're enjoying the holiday weekend, maybe take a few minutes to look around your garage or shed. Got some stuff you want to get rid of?

Well, we're providing our sanitation customers an opportunity to dispose of accumulated trash free of charge.

During the week of July 7-12, Minot residents who use City of Minot sanitation services can bring unwanted items and trash to the City of Minot landfill free of charge. Residents must provide a current City utility/water bill as proof they are a City customer.

Residents can also drop off household hazardous waste at the landfill year round - you know, like the old paint cans in your garage or shed.

The landfill is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday during the summer months.
