✂️ From phone lines to fiber internet – we're celebrating 75 years of innovation with SRT Communications! ☎️

Our Ambassadors were honored to help SRT kick off its Annual Meeting and commemorate 75 years in business with a ribbon cutting. Established in 1951 to bring telephone service to rural north-central North Dakota, SRT is now the state’s largest telecommunications cooperative, connecting communities across more than 5,500 square miles with high-speed fiber internet, phone, security, and more.

The Annual Meeting kicks off at 5:00 p.m. and includes a catered dinner, musical entertainment, gifts for members, and a business meeting at 7. Congratulations on 75 years, SRT!

AGT Foods – one of the largest pulse and plant-based food and ingredient companies in the world – has done business in Minot for nearly 20 years. So what motivates the company not only to stay in the Magic City, but to expand and invest even more deeply in the community?

✂️ There's a new spot in downtown Minot to get your glow on! ✨

The MACEDC Ambassadors were pleased to cut the ribbon at Glow Studio, a new business on Main Street. Glow Studio offers custom airbrush tanning, allowing customers to get a customized tan tailored to the individual’s skin tone for a natural sun-kissed glow. Appointments can be booked online between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

🌳 What a beautiful day to say thank you! 🇺🇸

On June 12, we partnered with Minot Parks to host Military Appreciation in the Parks. The weather at Oak Park was gorgeous as volunteers served lunch to military members, veterans, and their loved ones. Those families also enjoyed free skating at Maysa Arena, along with day passes to the Roosevelt Park Pool and Roosevelt Park Zoo.

"I stepped back and asked myself what I actually wanted my future to look like."

That's how Amanda Olson began her entrepreneurial journey – taking New Beginnings Imaging from a concept to a thriving mobile ultrasound service with clients across North Dakota.

But she didn't go it alone: our Start Up Minot Academy, powered by CO.STARTERS, gave her the foundation, the feedback, and the confidence to move forward.

“It made me think more like a business owner,” she said. “It gave me exposure to all the little areas that you may not realize matter when you first start building a business.”
