The late-day lighting on my “after” pictures look yellowed—but trust me when I say they are bright white, and stains are gone!
The set in diamond dirt from last season is gone—especially along the thigh seams and knees! And no harm to that orange stripe down the sides.
Mom gets the “W” on this 🥎 laundry battle!

I got this little video from my senior softball’er as the team received their uniforms in the locker room a few weeks back. I love that she knows I LOVE this stuff. 🥎👖

Last night I did a late night laundry run for a young family returning home from vacation. It wasn’t much—but what a load off their shoulders to be able to start this day without the post-vacation laundry pile up.

Tending to an order full of tiny people clothes. Looks like blueberries and spaghetti were on the menu at some point. 🫐🍝
Let me just say—I definitely didn’t enjoy this process the first time around, but man do I enjoy all the memories that come flooding back as I stain treat baby and toddler clothes. My heart is full. ❤️

Hot take: I love weather hype! The energy, anticipation, watching and waiting—love it!
I tune into the Weather Channel for a storm like some watch the Super Bowl. Bring on snacks and hot cocoa. Just washed my windows so the dog and I can keep our noses to glass as the snow moves in. 😂
Granted, I’m also praying for my kiddos and friends and everyone down south who is at risk for ugly ice and power outages and damages. I’m grateful it’s the weekend so the number of people who need to be on the road is minimized. I remember packing a bag for extended shifts when I was working as a nurse—and i dreaded being away from my family during storms, but knew i was where i needed to be.
I’ve got a few more chores and errands today, bread to bake, laundry to get ahead of…but I’ve got an eye on Fern like I’m stalking the location of one of the kids driving home for Christmas.
Stay safe everyone, be kind, embrace this forced slow down. Dust off the puzzles and games. Lord Jesus, I trust in you. 🙏🏼❤️

Throwback to 2010, the day we became a “bakers dozen.” 11 kiddos ages 10 and under.
Folks you can trust me on a lot of things including:
1. Yes, I was as tired as I look in that picture! 😂
2. Yes, I totally understand chaos and feeling overwhelmed.
3. Yes, I am truly blessed!!! 🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️
And 4. Yes, I know laundry. And stains. And socks—thousands of them over the years.

8 loads of washing and drying, an extra gentle cycle/line-dry item, and a couple hours of folding and stacking. This order is ready to bag and deliver in the morning.
