🚨GIVEAWAY ALERT! 🚨

And the suspense is officially over! We are incredibly proud of how the gym has turned out - just look at that shine and the brand new pickleball court!!

While there are still plans to put the bleachers back up and add some protective padding underneath the backboards, but we are excited for the space to be utilized once again!

Believe it or not, the second most question we received from the community was, “Do you need any help?”. While we definitely will need some services in the future - we simply ask right now for you to consider to:

• 🏀 Rent the gym for team practices or scrimmage games
• 🎂 Book the cafeteria for your next birthday party or family event
• 💼 Secure an office space to grow your local business

We will soon have gym and cafeteria schedules on our website where you can request bookings directly. If you have an immediate need or want to check in a date availability right away, please email us at [email protected]!

Here’s a look at some of the behind the scenes work that was put into the gym these past several weeks!

By far the most common question we have received was, “How did you get the graffiti off?”. The answer was “by hand, using razor blades, scrubbers, toothbrushes and general cleaning supplies.”

We originally planned to repaint the entire gym including the brick, but after talking to many community members who grew up and played in the gym - it was evident there was a sentimental connection to the gym. We ultimately decided it was best to restore the gym to its original form (as best as we could). With the help of family - a lot of sweat, a small amount of blood and maybe a beverage or two - there are only a couple small details left and we are excited to share the updates!

As the Minster Oktoberfest setup gets underway, we thought it would be the perfect time to share our gym project updates!

When we purchased the building, we knew the gym had so much potential to further bring the community together and a place for even more people to enjoy - with a little hard work of course.

Today we are sharing the “before” pictures and over the next few days we will share the progress and “final” results as well as our plans for its use. Stay tuned this week as we celebrate not only Oktoberfest but the transformation of this space!

It was great seeing so many people in the gym at the ministry fair last Saturday and Sunday! We have another day or two of work before we share more progress photos and updates about our plans for the gym. Until then, enjoy the long weekend!
