We have made the decision to postpone the Bruce Graff Streamer Weekend.

When we planned this gathering, our intention was simple: to bring people together during one of the most beautiful times of year in Northern Michigan. We wanted to share stories, laugh, and celebrate the memory of Bruce on the majestic waters he loved so deeply. Bruce meant the world to us, and this weekend was always about honoring him and bringing our community together—far beyond the fishing itself.

However, we heard your concerns loud and clear. As a growing shop, we are learning every single day, and we share your passion for protecting and preserving our local waters and fisheries. Your feedback reminded us of what matters most to all of us.

We truly appreciate the community holding us accountable, and we urge everyone to continue protecting our waters during this critical time.

Thank you for your passion, your honesty, and your support as we navigate this together. We look forward to gathering to honor Bruce in a way that fully aligns with the health of the river we all love.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for on the Au Sable. The Hendrickson hatch is officially in full swing, but don't blink—this window is as narrow as it is exciting!

We’ve been seeing consistent action daily, with the bugs starting to come off right around 3:30 PM. If you want to experience some of the best dry fly fishing of the season, now is the time to be on the water.

Pro-Tips for the Hatch:

Timing is Everything: Aim to be in your favorite run by 3:00 PM to get settled before the rise begins.

Match the Hatch: We have a fresh stock of Hendrickson patterns (duns, spinners, and emergers) ready to go at the shop.
