Doesn’t look like the correct time to be planting anything does it. This property is actually being restored to native prairie grasses and floral. The seed needs winter stratification to germinate in the spring. Mixed in is an annual cover crop to stabilize the soil quickly. This will germinate right away and protect the dormant seed over the winter.
