Twenty years ago, I founded williamsworks to help artists, athletes, Fortune 500 CEOs, families and individuals make positive change. The idea was firmly rooted in who I am, where I come from, and how I was raised – by strong-willed parents who centered community, public service and family, a family who woke up everyday to fight for our neighbors.

For the last two decades, williamsworks has had the honor of working with some of the world’s extraordinary changemakers: Ben Affleck and the Eastern Congo Initiative, Shane Battier and the Battier Take Charge Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Billie Jean King, the Miranda Family, Pearl Jam and Montana Pool Service, The Rockefeller Foundation, Starkey, and the ONE Campaign.

As we reflect on the last 20 years, and look forward to the decades ahead, we are deeply proud to have partnered with our clients and local leaders who center community and work relentlessly to make lasting impact.

Gigantic thanks to our mighty team past and present, our partners and friends and our clients who have been with us on the journey and fueled progress everywhere.

Today is Trans Day of Visibility, dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of trans, non-binary, and gender nonconforming people, while raising awareness of the work that still needs to be done to achieve trans justice.

Here in Montana, where we value the right to privacy, the attacks keep coming. That’s why we will continue to support leaders like Rep. Zooey Zephyr and Rep. SJ Howell in their work to increase representation and stand up against anti-LGBTQ bills today and every day. In 1989, on the 9th floor of Jesse Hall at the University of Montana, I met my new neighbor, Kathleen McLaughlin. This fellow Montanan just released her first book Blood Money. It’s extraordinary. Visit this link to grab a copy from Fact and Fiction Books: https://www.factandfictionbooks.com/book/9781982171964 - or order one through your local bookstore!

Blood Money shares Kathy’s 10-year investigation about the source of the medicine for her rare autoimmune disease. Her personal quest for answers unearths the economic inequalities of the 20 billion dollar blood plasma industry. Great interview on NPR’s Weekend Edition:
