Educate me please! It has come to my attention that car titles are not required to be notarized in some states. I'm trying to wrap my head around why or why not sellers and car owners would want or not this. Let me know so I can understand the issue more. Thanks!

Why do I do what I do? Here is the story.
On a Monday as I was driving back from a fulfilling weekend spent in the mountains I got a call. It was the emergency room in Missoula, MT. My father was there. He had fallen, hit his head, and now his brain was bleeding. As the staff took action to care for him the doctor called for pause as he was alerted to my father's wish for a DNR. I am thankful everyday for this pause as this was my father's true wish. We had talked about this many times on car rides and it wasn't a sad thing. It was a quality of life thing. At any rate, the staff made my dad comfortable. The family gathered. We said goodbye. It was as it was meant to be.
This experience has brought to light the value in having these conversations with our family members. I want to share this gift with as many people as I can because it makes a difference and it is important work. Do the work and finalize it with notarization. We are here for you. Make it happen. More importantly do it now, no matter what your age. 18-105 year olds. Get it done!
