I have just completed my last Big Project for Bad Goat.

A 20x36 timber frame pavilion for the Clinton Community parks new Skate Park!

I am currently looking for new ownership to take Bad Goat into the future.

I started milling boards and felling trees for Mark in 2009. Its Been an incredible journey. If you know anyone who would be a good fit for Bad Goat. Please alert them to this unique opportunity.

If you've had trouble reaching us recently, its because we were busy building a cabin on an island in northern Minnesota.

This a full scribe locked dovetail cabin.

We are going to be more focused on building projects in log and timber moving forward. If you are looking for a good deal on live edge slabs, now would be a good time to buy, as we are selling all but a few select hardwoods slabs for 50 percent off.

Had a great time cutting and raising this Timber Frame last spring!

And what a great, private hangout area with an awesome view this pavilion will be for the new owners!

Designed and engineered specifically for this location on Flathead Lake this frame is 24x40 with all wood joinery. The Larch timbers came mostly from a site clearing we did on lake Inez a while back, and was cut on our mills.

We are chainsaw slabbing oversized logs like this big blackwalnut this fall. We cut through an aluminum arrow shaft in this log!

This tree came from orchard homes.

We will air dry these slabs until atleast next fall before putting them in the vacuum kiln.

Then they will be ready for making into finished goods.

We built this table in collaboration with a customer.

They brought in their wood. We kiln dried it and constructed the table top and legs. We epoxy coated the top, and left the legs unnished for the customers to finish at home.

When you work with us you can do as little or as much as you want!

I Love the colors we achieved in this stained Siberian Elm Conerence Table! It looks especially nice in direct sunlight.

We mixed multiple stains together to achieve this color, and applied multiple stain coats at intervals outside the norm to get the depth and sheen just right.

This one ended up 48 inches wide and just shy of 10 feet long.
