Another transformation in the books here in Baldwin County! 🌲

We just wrapped up a full-scope land project on a 10-acre property — and the before-and-after speaks for itself.

Here’s what the GLS crew knocked out:

✅ Cleared & burned over 85 trees
✅ Forestry mulched an acre near the home to open up the view of the land
✅ Forestry mulched several hunting trails on the back side of the property 🦌
✅ Hauled in fill dirt & topsoil, then regraded the entire front acre for an easier, smoother mow
✅ Installed 150 LF of culvert pipe under the road and into the pond to manage rainwater across the property
✅ Set rip rap rock at both ends of the culvert for long-term stabilization
✅ Seeded & strawed over an acre to lock it all in

The result? A cleaner, more usable, better-draining property with a wide-open view — plus ready-to-ride hunting trails out back. 🙌

From standing water to a fully functional lay down yard 👏

Godwin Land Solutions transformed this 5-acre property with complete clearing, site work, drainage, grading, and erosion control to create a usable, year-round space. Before we started, the property was holding water throughout the entire site.

To get the job done right, we brought in over 200 loads of dirt and 60 loads of gravel, while also installing drainage culverts and ditches to ensure proper water flow and long-term drainage.

The difference from before to after is night and day — another property transformed by the GLS team. 💪

Project Spotlight 🚧🏗️ (Former YMCA Interior Demolition)

This project involved a full interior demo of the existing YMCA facility, carefully stripping the structure down to a clean slate to prepare for its future redevelopment into a self-storage facility. Big transformation on this ALDOT entrance off Hwy 59 🚧🚛

We installed 82 linear feet of concrete culvert pipe along with asphalt and concrete to bring this trucking entrance up to standard and ready for heavy daily traffic. This project also required us to block one lane of traffic while following all ALDOT requirements for proper traffic control, signage, and safety measures from start to finish.
