Back in the shop. Did some restoration work for a local gentleman. At top is a Dartmoor survival knife that was bought as a kit. I made the finger guard from billet aluminum, made the belt holder and put a mirror edge on the blade. Second, is a Damascus dagger that I restored and made a sheath for it. Third is a spear point knife and sheath that I just did some restoration on and same for the beast knife at the bottom of the page. It may not sound like much but it was three full days in the shop to complete these four knives. The customer is a collector with 7000 knives and he has many more projects for me to work on.

After pics. This is an Emerson Electric fan from the 1930’s. It’s so old, they put on the name plate “For Alternating Current”. Had to pull the motor and completely rewire the fan, clean out 90 years of grease, re-grease, paint and reassemble. Hand brightening the grill was the hardest. Works good as new.
