I don’t have very many pictures from Hayley’s beautiful birth because it went so fast once things got rocking and rolling. I flew to the hospital at rapid speed but was blocked downtown due to Mardi Gras parade routes. I think I broke a few traffic laws flooring it to get there. Hayley and TJ prepared for this birth so well! They educated themselves and asked all the good questions to the appropriate people. Their birth was incredible! Hayley had such control and TJ was an incredible support! Welcome, sweet Henry! Thank you for letting me be a part! I’m so proud of y’all!

After meeting Ginny and talking with her, we knew she had a history of going fast, so we didn’t play around with her labor. She had been contracting and decided to go in, but when we got there they fizzled out. Since she was not technically in active labor, she chose to go home to try and rest. They were not there for long before we were back up at the hospital. She labored so quickly, and the hospital rooms were all full, so we had ourselves a triage baby 😂 Drew and Ginny made such a good team, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of their brief birth! Welcome to the world, Ellis!

I was introduced to Melanie and Clayton later on in their pregnancy journey. They were well prepped by their friend and other doula, Ashley, so it made my job easy. They were a dream to work with. Working with Dr. Perez, I knew she was in good hands. Melanie went into spontaneous labor and after a long and patient haul, she and Clayton welcomed sweet Robert into this world! They did an incredible job, and I’m so thankful I got the privilege to work with them! Congratulations!!

I don’t have very many pictures of Morgan and Adam because, well, I missed it 😂. Morgan contacted me early in pregnancy and we were connected through her sister who I had the privilege of being with her and her babies and it turns out that they BOTH birth at the speed of light. Labor ramped up fast with Morgan, and I broke lots of laws trying to get across the bay. Unfortunately I missed it, but she and Adam handled the intensity so well!! They were prepared and did such a great job educating themselves. I am beyond proud, and sweet Sam is perfect! Thank you for letting me be a part of your sweet and rapid birth!

Dallas and Thomas are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I was able to be with them for the birth of their first baby, Rory, so I was thrilled when they asked me to be there for this one! Dallas labored like a champ like she did the first time, but as she was pushing, she had to be rushed back for an emergency c section due to a facial presentation. It was certainly not in the plans, and it was quick and scary, but they handled it so well. They made such an incredible team and I’m so proud of them! Welcome to the world, Jude!

Haley and Joseph got a few extra weeks with their sweet boy when her water broke 5 weeks early! As a first time mom, you usually plan to go past your due date instead of being thrown into labor when you think you have weeks to go. They handled it in stride and with patience. They made excellent choices in labor that were thoughtful and considered each outcome. The intervention tools that were used were appropriately timed and after a very long haul, they got their vaginal birth and welcomed their sweet boy, Christopher earthside! I am so incredibly proud of them!! Congrats, Haley and Joseph! Y’all are amazing!

Doris and Austin are some of my favorite humans. I was able to be with them with the birth of their first sweet girl, and I was thrilled when I was asked to be there again! Doris went through pregnancy like a champ and towards the end of her pregnancy found out her baby was in a breech position. After an attempt to turn her via ECV was unsuccessful, Doris decided to go for a natural breech delivery, and she was incredible throughout!! She had a great team on her side. A huge thanks to Dr. Perez and Dr. Calhoun ❤️. Welcome to the world, Lottie!! You are loved!

Kylie and Thomas reached out early in their pregnancy so I got to get to know them throughout Kylie’s pregnancy. They prepared well in pregnancy and so when they had to be induced due to pre-eclampsia, they were well-equipped to go into a scenario that was not originally planned. The induction process was a long one. Lots of fluids, lots of mental resets, lots of taking through next steps, and lots of encouragement. It was all worth it in the end! With her willingness to try different positions, and her bomb nurses and support from Thomas, Kylie was able to bring sweet baby Bri earthside! She is like a real baby doll! I am so beyond proud of you both!!

Rebekah and Jesse reached out in their happy surprise pregnancy for doula support and they did such a good job preparing themselves for each turn! They made really great choices when the time came to induce to get baby John out! They did it slowly and her body responded so well that I almost didn’t make it there! Jesse was an incredible support to her and it was such a fun birth with her hilarious family in the room that kept the environment light and the room laughing. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this special birth! It was an honor to be there!

Johanna and Anthony prepared so well for labor! They educated themselves, asked the right questions, and knew what they wanted and why. Her water broke early in the morning and she labored at home for a while until they decided to head into the hospital. We had a long haul ahead of us. She worked hard and well through each contraction. Anthony was an incredible support and didn’t stop comforting her even when it was time for a honeybun break 🤣. Rosalie started giving us some signs that she was not going to come out this way and a c section was called. Thankfully, she and Johanna are both ok as it was a pretty intense situation. I’m very thankful for the quick response and care of the USA staff!! Johanna and Anthony, I am so proud of you both for how you navigated this, and Rosalie is adorable!

I don’t have very many pics from the birth of Lottie, because when she decided it was time to come earthside, she wasted no time! I have had the privilege of being with Leslie and Brenton in the birth of all 3 of their sweet babes! Leslie is quite an efficient birther, and so when she says it’s time, we believe her 🤣. A few false starts, let us know that she was likely going to even come faster than her brothers, and we were correct! Lottie came into this world with a bang and likely a foreshadowing of her s***k which she will need in the future of handling her big bros! Congratulations, Leslie and Brenton!! Y’all are the best. Thankful for your whole fam! And a huge thanks to ! Your steadiness and care are a comfort to be around. I loved all the couch time in the waiting with you ❤️😘
