When you look at these two trees, you might think they’re different.
But they’re not.
They have the same roots… the same structure… the same design.
The only difference is what’s been placed on them.
In Scripture, people are often compared to trees — planted, growing, shaped by seasons.
And just like a tree doesn’t decorate itself, neither do we.
The ornaments and lights—the beauty you see—represent the attributes of God:
peace, mercy, patience, understanding, compassion, and love.
You can’t buy these attributes.
You can’t earn them through force.
You can’t pretend your way into them.
These are things only God can place on a person’s life.
But here’s the part most people miss:
Before God decorates a tree,
He empties it.
The undecorated tree is not lacking — it’s ready.
It’s in a state of openness, humility, and willingness.
And spiritually, that’s where transformation begins.
When we are empty of pride…
empty of old attitudes…
empty of the beliefs that keep us stuck…
God can finally place His attributes on us—
and that changes everything.
Peace becomes possible.
Mercy becomes natural.
Understanding becomes effortless.
Love flows without being forced.
Same tree.
Same person.
New expression.
That’s what happens when your attitude aligns with the character of God.
When you change the lens you look through, your whole life changes with it.
