We had a great time training with Progressive Community Church today in Stockton! It was absolutely our largest class yet! You all were phenomenal to work with. Thank you to everyone who made it out. We definitely look forward to working with you all again!

MWTC recently conducted a Defensive Fundamentals Pistol course at the Linden Gun Range. We want to thank all our patrons who out to train with us all day at the range! Look out for more upcoming training opportunities from MWTC. Happy holidays everyone and remember to be safe, stay vigilant and be prepared. Attitude is important but mindset is everything!

Please check out this podcast featuring one of MWTC’s Instructor, Rob Young who appears as a special guest on Travis Haley’s podcast “The Bridge”. Rob shares his very insightful thoughts on the latest Active Shooter incidents diving into the incident that occurred in Uvalde, Texas.

Travis Haley is a veteran Force Reconnaissance Marine with 15 years of dedicated real world experience including: combat tours in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. After leaving the military, Mr Haley served as a special operations and security contractor before partnering with Magpul as founder and CEO of their training division, Magpul Dynamics. Mr Haley also served as CEO of the parent company, Magpul Industries, before breaking off to form the endeavor that would become Haley Strategic Partners. Travis is the host of the podcast “The Bridge”.

Recently MWTC held a Defensive Pistol Shooting Fundamentals Course at the Linden Gun Range. We would like to thank all the attendees who came and spent the day with us learning, training, sharing and improving their skills.

This course was for the novice to intermediate shooter seeking improvement in defensive pistol shooting fundamentals. Training for home defense, CCW qualification preparation or just improving your basic defensive skills with your pistol. It was led by USCCA certified instructor, Carlos Medina and NRA pistol and CCW certified instructor, Justin Love.

This course covered:
- Improving your grip
- Various shooting platforms
- Improving your trigger control
- Shooting from cover and concealment
- Movement and shooting
- Instinctive & reactive shooting
- Defensive accuracy
- Precision shooting at distance
- Red dot optic systems on pistols

MWTC would like to thank all the warriors who came out on Memorial Day weekend and trained with us in self defense pistol basics!

We covered a lot in our 4 hour basic course! Fi****ms safety rules, pistol & ammunition selection, stance, grip, sight picture & alignment, trigger control and follow through. This group is preparing for next week’s Defensive Shooting Pistol Fundamentals course at the Linden Gun Range. There are 2 open spots left!
