Give crime and drugs a going away party! Join your neighbors and America for National Night Out on August 6, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.! This event promotes crime prevention, police-community partnerships, and neighborhood unity. Street closure permits are free of charge - just bring your own barricades!

Star Wars and art lovers❗️Never Boring will be a lively and fun stop on Modesto Art Walk this Thursday! Stop to take pictures with our beautiful mural, plus vibe to our Trax on Wax 209 DJ spinning John Williams’ Star Wars music. Then you can jump into our slo-mo video booth where we will broadcast the participants great acting 🎥🤩

The Central Valley Film Anthology is hitting the big screen on May 30th at the State Theater! They are going to show 5 short films made by talented local filmmakers. Let’s pack the house and show our support for the incredible filmmakers putting Modesto back on the map!! 🎥🎞️❗️

Our good friends at Learning Quest have provided a fun fundraising challenge to help raise dollars for the great services they provide. Lives are changed, and opportunities abound once literacy is achieved.

The challenge? Rappelling over the edge
of 1524 McHenry Ave. (often called the big black box).

Learning Quest and those that accept the challenge will go to great heights to help others!!

Last night's State of the County event in Modesto was a hit! The crowd packed Stanislaus County Modesto Library, showcasing the city's diverse sectors.

Chairman of the Board, Mani Grewal, delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting Modesto's collaborative spirit and promising future. Past and present supervisors, department heads, and the county CEO were honored for their contributions.

Grewal's message resonated, emphasizing progress and unity in Modesto.
