evelop a wide range of expertise. MG Home Organizing offers a problem-solving approach that begins with evaluating each individual client’s unique obstacles. We ask questions to determine the cause of any disorganization. Do we have a specialty? There are two primary culprits that lead people - even people that consider themselves organized – into living in a disorganized space: time and things. MG Home Organizing cannot add hours into a day and understands that we need and love our things, but we can help you pare down and evaluate ways to make your home flow more efficiently, and therefore, save you time. We have a long list of resources that we love to share with our clients – i.e. donation
pick-up services, items accepted by different charities, IRS document-retention guidelines, and recycling and garbage policies for towns in the Western Suburbs. We will tackle any space in
your home: closets, pantries, basements, garages, home offices, toy rooms, etc. How much will this cost and what is the process? MG Home Organizing offers a judgment-free, cost-free consultation via phone, email or text. Potential clients typically ask a few questions and we begin evualuating what is working and is not working in your home. We then draw up a service agreement, give a rough estimate of what the project would cost, and find a time to begin! Overwhelmed, unsure and hesitant to get started? Choose one small space in your home and have us show you what we can do. We want to see your home as it is on a “typical” day, so please don’t organize in preparation for our consultation. The best way to begin is just to give us a call and let us start you on your way to a more organized home!

My favorite thing about organizing is …everything! I love finding the right solution for each person, making a space more efficient and beautiful, passing along no-longer-needed items to people who’ll need/love them. I love that my brain gets so focused in the task that the outside world sometimes doesn’t exist. I truly love the people/friendships it brings into my life. I love problem solving. I love figuring out how to save people money by finding their lost items, using storage items they already have, and by making them see what they have so they don’t buy things they already own.

Organizing has my heart 🩵💙

I have found there to be a great need for organizing, but the older adults in our community need caring, honest and detail-oriented people to assist them with household organizing and management.

I would like to grow a network of people that can assist older adults tackle small projects in order to help them through transitions and/or upkeep of their homes.

Today’s mission was to create blissful organization in two homes! 🤩

The main project was to help one of my absolute favorite clients make her dream closet a reality. She has worked hard and taken care of others her whole life and deserves a gorgeous place for all her pretty things. This client is like a mom to me and it made my day to see her so happy with the outcome. 🥰

The second project was to spruce up a pantry for a new client. I’ll be going back to label but this pantry is ready to make meal preparation run as smoothly as possible!

Organized pantries just make my heart happy!! 😍

She’s so fortunate to have all this space - we were able to tuck all the snacks neatly into the drawers with some rearranging and there is now plenty of room to spare!

Thank you to Chris Wichmann for inviting me to organize her daughters' room and for writing this great article published in Main & Luxe Magazine!! I LOVE to give organizing advice and welcome opportunities like this to share my insights with others!

Setting the groundwork for how and why to organize at a young age is life changing, but it's never too late to start.

A little pantry inspiration for you! 😍

After the before picture was taken and I spoke with the client about her preferences for her pantry, the client cleared everything out and discarded expired food.

My team member, Mady, and I planned out items to purchase for the session ...and today Mady made this pantry beautifully organized!!

What does the client think? "Mady did a great job and we worked well together. I love how it looks and I didn't even want to close the pantry doors. I love the products she brought and how she set it up. I'm so happy I found you both!" 🥰

It happens to the best of us. We shove something in a closet or a drawer and shut the door. And then again. And again. Before we know it, organizing the space is an overwhelming task. Just remember that when done well, organizing saves time, saves money, and eliminates waste going forward.

“Why can’t you just do it yourself?” My clients hear this often when they tell others that they want to hire a professional organizer.

The answers can be complex or simple. Maybe the client can organize themselves but don’t have time. Maybe something like ADHD stands in their way of completing the task in its entirety. Maybe they are overwhelmed by intense emotions that keep them from organizing their home.

This is where we come in. We don’t judge; we always welcome your story but don’t need to know why you hired us. We just want to help and do our best to make your home operate smoothly for you. 💙

This closet was organized by one organizer in 6.5 hours. No containers or supplies were purchased for the session.

Busy season is going to be in full swing soon for this accountant and she needed her office to be ready for tax season. Since she also serves the roles of office manager, mom, grandma, Mary Kay rep, and bible study leader, she needed a sensible way to store everything she needs ...and perhaps, most importantly, a calm and organized room she can use to make sure she takes care of her own health!

It's been so busy lately, that I haven't been posting as much lately but here are a few pictures from my fun weekend project.

I adore this couple and found out we even have connections back to my mom's small town in Michigan. They had Elfa components added to their closet when they renovated years back but it closed off the windows and made the space feel very narrow. The homeowners wanted to open up the wall and do some construction. I asked them to let me give it try and see what I could do. Fortunately, they're thrilled! 😍

Organizing draws in my brain and focus like nothing else - especially when I feel like it's a puzzle waiting to be solved. Thank you all for trusting in me to help you and please keep the projects coming!

We spent two sessions organizing this clients' new home and it should now work beautifully for him!

As a talented and hard-working business owner, he believes in hiring professionals to care of the details in order for his home to suit his lifestyle perfectly without a lot of stress. I'm honored to have been included and hope he is able to enjoy his new home to the fullest!

Today's client was referred to me from a very sweet prior client and I thoroughly enjoyed bringing beautiful order into this closet! ADHD makes it difficult for many of my clients to create the structure they desire, but with this clear organized system, this client will be able to maintain and enjoy!

We even found a set of meaningful diamond earrings (that she thought were gone for good) and her passport, making the session even more value added! 💙
