As much as I don’t want to, I am going to be closing today until further notice. As my symptoms have gotten worse. Anybody that has any negative things to say not today Satan! Those are not my demons. Those are yours and I will pray for you! I haven’t been able to catch my breath now for over three days and there’s a constant pain in my chest that works its way around to the back now at this point. I went to the walk-in clinic yesterday I barely made it there. I had to pull over on the side of the road. My niece tried to wave him down 10 cars before one. Stopped to the nurse that stopped off the Port Byron exit and gave me my inhaler I am so truly grateful for you. 🥹  & to the gentleman named Casey who drove in front of me to take me to the walk-in clinic and make sure that I made it safely I forever appreciate you are my heroes. I am going to take the advice of my primary care physician and go into the ER after my morning order as I need the money for my hotel rooms to keep my kids out of this extremely toxic environment. I will try to figure something out so my community can still enjoy great healthy affordable food. Thank you for your patience as this is not an easy decision. All bloodwork has came back normal. I’m extremely healthy other than this. I am awaiting results from my x-ray from yesterday. Hopefully they can shed light on what is going on and I can heal myself. I need money to move out of that house. Falcon Farms is not doing anything to help. They are not giving any rent money back any deposit back they haven’t even got the mold out of the house it’s still very much in there blowing spores all over. I hope everyone has a blessed day 🫶❤️

Delayed opening until 11:30 due to a mold inspection on my house. Basically yes homes is trying to cover their asses after I ripped walls off after 10 months of complaining for them to do nothing & found mold in my walls. I can’t have my kids, niece , & dog sleeping in my car as I’m almost out of days for a hotel Thank you for your patience & understanding. This is not easy as I NEED money to keep my kids from breathing this in anymore we’re all sick from months of this. 😅❤️‍🩹🫶

We have to close at 1:30 to see a Dr I can’t catch my breath & my chest/ heart hurt I’m too sick to finish the day I have no workers for today I plan on being open tomorrow regular hours ❤️‍🩹

Good afternoon everybody. ✨I want to take the time out to send my deepest condolences and prayers 🙏to our volunteer Raymond and his family for the loss of their grandfather and uncle. 🥹He is an amazing person with a big heart and we appreciate all he does for us 🫶stopping in and say hi as he will be leaving soon to join the Marines 🩷🩷 not everybody can be trained on the register/& or deliver orders…. and because of that I will have to close at 12:30 today to take a delivery over to Milan after my IHMVCU ❤️I love all of the support. I do want to say thank you so much and I appreciate every one of you deeply. I know that the doors have not been consistently staying open. We are definitely working on this I’m hopeful with the relocation, we can find the right people in the right spots. I will be reaching back out to everybody who has messaged me within the last 24 to 32 hours. I took the night off yesterday to take my daughter and niece out for some fun 🤩 my youngest baby Shyanne 💓💓 turned 4 😊 we will restock and will look forward to seeing you tomorrow!!

We will be closed today 04/13 & open tomorrow 04/14 to look into some vacant locations! Iowa has grants for any of the businesses struggling to keep your doors open in Illinois. I have not got served personally as of yet I have to get ahead of the eviction process. Regardless of how much attachment I have to this building I am ready for bigger and better things. Your my “Blessing” I was barely 😅 holding back ugly tears 😭 when she handed me this was extremely unexpected as you have already helped me soo much. I knew about the receipt 🧾 & match I must of missed a fundraiser. It’s sometimes it’s extremely difficult and those obstacles are soo tall…. However the love & support make it ALL worth it. I’m so blessed & Grateful 🥹 for your support, kindness, & Generosity!!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷We may loose our storefront & are now ready to look into Grants that Iowa has to stay open & maybe a better location with parking &/or a drive thru! We will figure it out. 18 years strong 3 chef coats, food science is my specialty, & herbalism is my passion. I love healing ❤️‍🩹 through food & helping my community. We are all one & should always help when we can. If your not part of the solution your part of the problem. Change is inevitable progress is optional. FINNS GRILL you & your team are the GOAT 🐐 I will always be thankful & pay it forward. I know in my heart & soul I was made for more we can’t let these amazing heavenly recipes go. When I think about coming to work everyday I always think about how today we can leave an impact better than yesterday. 🤔 Small or Big- ⬆️

It’s not my job to try and save every small business…
It’s not my job to make sure others are seen…
And it’s not my job to make sure we try something…

It’s just US, the FINNS TEAM, and this COMPANY providing a platform to make it possible to try and help when we can. I may own it. But it’s not just my ❤️ alone here wanting to try!

We always get a positive response for the most part and others we get folks telling us to leave it alone, let them fail on their own and not everyone is built to succeed. This is wild to me that we feel we are the ones to tell em. Rather than support their final / now / future efforts and assure them WE SEE YOU no matter the direction they end up.

Yes some of you may know better than me businesses need to fail to learn, not all are necessary and so on. But that’s not what matters to ME. It’s just understanding they poured every ounce of them into their plan, took on debts, risked second mortgages, shortened family time and work longer hours than about anyone. This bravery alone says courage, strength and for me I’m PROUD of them as a business owner ( No I don’t know them personally most times )and I want just one day if it is the end of the fight to be a little easier then the last day and to know… WE SEE YOU. 😊

My main goal is to SEE THEM in a time of uncertainty and unfortunate stress. Let them know their hard work to this point no matter the outcome is recognized and at the end of the day express how proud we are they tried something others won’t and wouldn’t!

Eh just my outlook LOVE IT or HATE IT 😂 as we know some will go either direction 😉

But FINNS FANNS will stand firm and be PROUD 🥹

I am so blessed and grateful of all the overwhelming support the community has shown us in 🥹🩷🩷 yesterday was awesome. I missed being busy. Due to the overwhelming support I am unloading a full truck and because of this, we will not be able to open until 11 AM today. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have to load and unload & stock!

My kids & community are counting on me. We’ve had two customers today & with an eviction notice upon us…..I can’t sit around whilst I’m at the end of a two year battle from a horrible domestic violence split day in & day out of sabotaging, bills, notice’s, & obstacles. I’m a single income home with $0 in child support. I have to be productive so I’m putting on my big girl pants & making the executive decision to close the storefront today & going to the food truck to fix what was vandalized & step out of insanity’s way. We may only have 30 days left here. Any suggestions of what to do to save our gem? I’m very open minded and believe whatever happens is ment to happen & know I’m meant for more in my journey. 💗 however kids need shelter & food still until the day I make my way back into homesteading 💞

We will be closed march 23rd we hope to back up open tomorrow. We are having mechanical obstacles & will be tearing apart the deli holder!
