The East Moline Fire Department and Silvis Fire Department are teaming up with State Farm® and the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®) to promote Fire Prevention Week™, October 4-10th.

This year’s focus is on educating the public about safe charging habits to reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires, keeping homes and communities safer.
