More of America’s most despised vegetation. Our customer hired someone who claimed they could remove her bamboo. Unfortunately with this property, this isn’t possible. The bamboo originates from multiple neighboring properties that are not interested in removal. The rhizomes will keep coming. The other contractor quickly got overwhelmed, made giant piles of bamboo, logs, and dirt, and then left. The only solution here other than a protracted legal battle with the neighbors, is management. Similar to mowing a lawn, mowing young bamboo. We removed the unsightly piles and cleaned up the topsoil so turf could be installed. Bamboo gone? No. Manageable? Yes. As our customer regularly mows her lawn, she will knock down the sprouting bamboo and keep it at bay. It will even recede a bit.
