How to obtain a Security Officer SORA License:
1. Go online to New Jersey State police and register for a two-year security officer application ID or one year ARMED security officer application ID. Both cost is $75. You must use a computer and the web browser must be Microsoft Edge. https://eapps.njsp.org/applicant/logon.do
2. From the same website you will make your appointment for the fingerprints $68. You pay for the finger prints the day of your appointment at the place of your appointment. Your fingerprints do not have to be completed in order to attend the class. But you should make your appointment for your fingerprints at the same time you purchase your application ID number from the NJSP.
3. Then go onto SORA100.com website register for the VIRTUAL ZOOM CLASS. Pay $125 to attend and complete the registration form. You will receive a confirmation number.
