Dear Customer,

As you might have heard, we are retiring! As much as Michael enjoys his work and chatting with his customers, his deteriorating back is forcing this on him. (He was told by an Orthopedic MD 20 years ago that he had only 3-5 years that he probably could continue, so he’s done quite well)

We have a contract for our home, and have a contract to purchase a house in NH to be closer to our kids and our grandkids!! Larry & Sons, Inc. land and buildings are for sale, but until we sell, we will try to work through the Summer (and weekend in NH) at least to finish our job list. There will be NO more plowing or sanding. We will be wintering in New Hampshire. We hope that this gives you plenty of time to find someone for your Winter maintenance.

We appreciate all of you, your friendship and concern. We are struggling with this decision, but know at this point it’s really not our choice…

I will try to post occasionally on our personal and Larry & Sons FaceBook pages if you want to see what is keeping Michael and me busy in our new life!

Also, we will be frequent visitors to the area… we both have family here….

Notice*** We just got a reminder from the good 'ole State of Maine that as of October 1st, the Sales Tax will increase to 5.5% (8% for food and lodging) so if you're planning to purchase some material this fall, you might want to get it by the end of this month!!! Every little bit helps ....
