After nearly 13 years as a fully independent strategic communications consultant, I'll be winding down Maggie B. Communications over the next month or so. It's been a whole lot of work, but it has also been so much fun. I've gotten to work on hundreds, maybe thousands, of projects -- building the brand platform for an innovative project-based high school from the ground up, promoting the opening of a historic bed & breakfast in a top tourist spot, telling human stories of the importance of becoming an organ, eye & tissue donor -- I could go on and on and on.

The partners and clients I've gotten to work with are the absolute best, many have become friends and many will stay lifelong connections. A different door has opened and I'm super excited to step through it. More official news on that front coming soon!

I've been a publicist for about 25 years (whoa!!) and have helped clients place stories with hundreds of media outlets - everything from the Wall Street Journal and Today Show to the smallest hyperlocal community news. It's all important, but some stand out more than others.

I'm so grateful for this article and the clients and friends who are preparing for an awesome event Thursday night with the Green Bay Rockers Baseball Club and Inside Wisconsin podcast (thank you John & Trevor!) to benefit my friends at The Production Farm - a talented and tenacious crew doing the important work of person-centered, trauma-informed mental health care in Northeastern WI and beyond. Check them out and support them!

Huge thank you to Natalie Eilbert at the Green Bay Press-Gazette for the thoughtful and generous reporting on this story, and to Gary Klein for the supporting images and video.

ESPN's SportsCenter anchor John Anderson helps shed light on youth mental health efforts at The Production Farm, an organization growing its reach.

If you have not yet had a chance to explore the majestic San Damiano property recently purchased by the City of Monona - many have only seen the street view! - now is your chance to roll up your sleeves and get a good look.

Gather your friends, family, and neighbors and join us for a clean-up day at San Damiano! We are looking for help tidying the property on June 19th from 1-5 p.m.. This includes picking up litter, removing invasive plant species, weeding the gardens, and hand-sawing brush. You can sign up for a one hour shift online at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d48a4ac23a4f49-sandamiano

Please plan to bring your own work gloves and gardening tools. Wheelbarrows are appreciated as well! Feel free to also pack a picnic and a blanket to enjoy the City's newest park after your shift is over as well!

Proud to help client Streu's Pharmacy Bay Natural spread the word about how independent pharmacies are an important piece of the puzzle when it comes to getting shots in arms!

If you haven't yet, contact your favorite local, independent pharmacy about the role they're playing in vaccine rollout.

Wisconsin health officials are turning to independent pharmacies and local health departments to help speed up the vaccine rollout at assisted living facilities.

Joined a lovely co-working space right in Monona in an effort to be a little more productive ... it's been a challenge to stay focused on work with the boys doing school at home, not to mention the wi-fi overload.
