HOLISTIC SOLUTIONS LLC IS HIRING AN INTAKE SPECIALIST

Recruitment and initial candidate screening coordinated through JFC Hiring Support Services. Holistic Solutions LLC, in partnership with JFC Hiring Support Services, is seeking a compassionate, culturally responsive, and resourceful Intake Specialist to support pregnant women, children ages 0–5, and families throughout Region 8.

The Intake Specialist will serve as an important first point of connection for individuals and families seeking services and support. This position requires a dependable professional who can conduct initial intake activities, identify family needs, connect clients with appropriate community resources, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support positive client outcomes.

**POSITION DETAILS**

• W-2, full-time position
• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Required availability on the second and fourth Thursdays until 6:00 p.m.
• Pay range: $17.50–$18.75 per hour, based on experience
• Primary work location: 1900 Lamy Lane, Suite C, Monroe, LA 71201
• Travel throughout Region 8, up to approximately 20%
• Probationary period applies

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Conduct initial intake and applicable screeners
• Link, refer, and follow up with families to appropriate community resources and services
• Serve as a multidisciplinary team player contributing to clients’ plans of care and overall outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely, ethical, and confidential documentation and communication

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

• Associate degree in a human services-related field; or
• Two years of paid experience providing direct services to children and families

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES**

The ideal candidate:

• Demonstrates cultural humility and the ability to effectively engage with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds
• Understands the impact of trauma and the complexities of family systems
• Approaches families with compassion, empathy, and a strengths-based, person-centered mindset
• Possesses strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and professional communication skills
• Practices active listening and builds trusting relationships with families and community partners
• Works independently, demonstrates initiative, and effectively manages responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Maintains a high level of organization, professionalism, and accountability
• Uses critical thinking and sound judgment to identify practical solutions and overcome barriers
• Is passionate about advocacy, community engagement, and empowering families to achieve positive outcomes
