We are proud to celebrate a major milestone for Molly Kat as she recently graduated from University of Louisiana Monroe and officially stepped into her new role as an Associate Strategic Partner at Undercurrent.

We believe strong communities are built through meaningful investment in people, especially the next generation of leaders right here at home. Supporting students, creating opportunities, and helping emerging talent grow is part of how we build stronger partnerships and stronger communities.

Molly Kat has already demonstrated the kind of thoughtfulness, initiative, and commitment to people that matters in our work, and we are excited to continue investing in her growth as she begins this next chapter.

Memorial Day is a reminder that freedom is not abstract. It has been protected through sacrifice.

At Undercurrent, we believe strong communities are built through service, trust, responsibility, and showing up for something greater than yourself. Today, we honor the men and women who gave their lives for this country and reflect on the responsibility we share to build stronger communities because of the freedoms they defended.

Yesterday, Caitlin had the opportunity to attend the The Rotary Club of Alexandria Louisiana’s scholarship and grant presentation, where scholarships were awarded to students and grants were given to local nonprofit organizations making an impact across the community.

As the New Generations Chair on the Alexandria Rotary Board, Caitlin has the opportunity to be part of conversations and initiatives that continue investing in future leaders throughout the area. It was inspiring to see so many people committed to supporting education, service, and the growth of our community!

Congratulations to the committees, students, and organizations recognized throughout such a meaningful day!

Over the last several weeks, our team worked alongside the Richland Parish Chamber of Commerce to help plan and support this year’s Annual Banquet. From strategy conversations to behind the scenes coordination, it was rewarding to help bring the vision for the evening to life.

This year’s banquet highlighted the leadership, partnerships, and shared investment continuing to move Richland Parish forward. The evening’s higher education fireside chat reflected many of the values we believe in at Undercurrent, bringing together regional leaders to share ideas, strengthen connections, and invest in the future of North Louisiana. We were also proud to see our own Roy Heatherly serve as moderator for the conversation.

Grateful for the opportunity to help support conversations that continue shaping the future of our region.

We are excited to welcome Hayley Martin to the Undercurrent team! 🩵

Fun fact: Hayley’s very first job was at Louisiana Lions Camp, a camp for children with special needs and juvenile diabetes. Her time there sparked her passion for serving others and building meaningful connections — something that still influences the way she approaches both her work and client relationships today.

She hit the ground running in Shreveport at the Northwest Louisiana Data Center Supplier Outreach and Information Session, staying connected to the growth shaping the region’s future.

Earlier today, our team had the opportunity to attend a luncheon hosted by Explore Alexandria Pineville in celebration of National Travel and Tourism Week.

Organizations like theirs play an important role in highlighting the people, businesses, and experiences that give communities their identity. The work being done to continue bringing visibility to Alexandria and Pineville creates opportunities that extend far beyond tourism alone.

It was also great hearing from Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser about the continued investment and opportunity surrounding places like CENLA!
