We’ve drawn the winners of the day 2 raffles! The hard hat winner was present, but he respectfully declined the announcement and photos because, well, he’s playing hookie from work today, and he’s here with resumes. 😂😂

The LOTO kit winner hasn’t responded to messages yet, but we’ll post it when he does, if he gives permission.

Thanks to all who visited our booth this week at !

We're getting a little warmer, which means the snow is beginning to melt, then refreeze at night. The ice is a much worse slip hazard than the snow, don't fall for Mother Nature's sneaky tricks! Walk your jobs first thing, identify the hazards, and take care of them before they take care of your guys and girls!

We’re coming up on 10 inches here in the Cincinnati area, and it’s going to keep coming down for another 9 hours or so.

Are the roofs on your projects built to the point of handling this snow load? I know that working in this weather on a Sunday isn’t what you want to do, but clearing some load off the roof today would be better than going in to a collapse tomorrow.

Most of the U.S. is bracing for major snow this weekend, including here in the Cincinnati area. Snow on the jobsite creates many additional hazards, and we don't need any more than we already have! Do you have a plan in place to mitigate this and get the job back to ready to work status safely?

Be sure to button your site up tight tomorrow. Snow can cover and hide materials and other items on the ground. Mark everything with flags, poles, or anything tall, so you can see where they are with up to a foot or more of snow on them. The plow operators and everyone else will thank you.

Be safe out there, and keep warm!

We’ve had a big temperature drop here in the Tristate area. There are many ways that below freezing weather makes job sites both more hazardous and more unpleasant. Be careful out there, and bundle up! Field guys, what say you? 🥴

With an unfinished roof, standing water on the deck is inevitable at times. However, it's going to be in the high teens tonight, so if this water is not removed, it will be a skating rink in the morning. These crews got squeegees and took care of it.

Yes, Mike, I can hear you laughing in sunny SW Florida from here.
