As summer approaches and temperatures rise, proper storage and handling of PVC lineals, windows and doors becomes especially important.

Direct sunlight, enclosed spaces, wrapped products, and poor airflow can cause heat to build quickly, increasing the risk of softening, warping or distortion.

To help protect product performance:
✅ Do not store finished products in closed containers such as trucks, vans, shipping containers, sunrooms, or enclosed porches.
✅ Do not store products with shrink wrap or protective plastic still in place.
✅ Avoid storing products near metal surfaces exposed to direct sunlight.
✅ Stacking or storing products tightly together in sunlight can trap and amplify heat between units.

Meet Joe, our Maintenance Planner, who has been part of the Deceuninck family for an incredible 23 years.

Joe says the best part of his job is the people. He enjoys both the people he works for and the people he works alongside. The sense of teamwork and mutual respect keeps him motivated every day.

He started his journey as a maintenance technician, advanced to shift lead, and now serves as Maintenance Planner. Joe believes that with hard work and a positive attitude, there are always opportunities to grow and learn at Deceuninck.

We appreciate Joe’s dedication, expertise, and commitment to keeping our operations running smoothly year after year.
