Want to start a business?.....
First, ask yourself, are your goals more aligned to a ๐บ๐๐
๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐. ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐?
This is one of the biggest challenges I see when I talk to potential clients.
A side hustle is still a business, but it's something that can be done part-time, usually in addition to another primary job, and requires less resources.
A small business usually requires a lot more effort and is a person's sole income. It involves additional time, money, commitment, resources such as hiring staff, and requires greater attention to branding and marketing. There's also increased financial and legal risk.
Both are still businesses, but it helps to know if you're doing this for another stream of revenue, looking for a creative outlet to pursue your hobbies or passions, or want to dabble in business ownership or entrepreneurship before fully committing.
OR
You want to hit the ground running, make this your sole source of income, you're all in, and there's no turning back.
There's no right or wrong answer. Just choose the best that aligns with your short-term goals.
Remember, side hustles can always evolve into businesses!
