As a recovering burnout, Iâm constantly working to practice what I preach what I help clients with. Earlier this summer, I felt the familiar pull of âbusy modeââan overbooked calendar, and then, inevitably, I got sick.
It was a reminder that even when you know better, you have to stay vigilant about protecting your time and energy.
I noticed the warning signs: too much on my plate, not enough breathing room, and health taking a hit. So, I did what I needed to doâI hit pause, reassessed, and made intentional changes to reset.
One of the back to basicsâand I highly recommendâis scheduling âwhite spaceâ on your calendar. But hereâs the hard part: keeping that space clear. I briefly fell into the trap of filling it up, and thatâs where the real challenge lies.
So:
1ď¸âŁ What can you pause?
2ď¸âŁ Where can you reassess your priorities?
3ď¸âŁ How will you reset and protect your schedule to create that space?
