A few weeks ago, we had the honor of throwing my sister and brother-in-law a baby shower at The Playhouse at White Lake. The Playhouse was the perfect venue for it, and I absolutely loved all the natural lighting. I highly recommend this venue for showers, parties, and weddings! Readyforyourentals was also wonderful to work with for tablecloth rentals!

This stunner at Sundance and the Secret Garden was layered with bold pinks, vibrant orange, fresh greens, patterned plates, and mixed goblets in pink, green, amber, and red. The bride added soft blush napkins for texture, topped it all with the dreamiest florals, and the result was pure magic.

There’s a lot small business owners are “supposed” to do… reels, videos, algorithms, always showing up on camera. I haven’t been very present on social media lately, and that’s intentional. I’m choosing what’s sustainable instead of what’s performative. My love for this business hasn’t gone anywhere, I’m just not jumping through hoops to be the first thing you see when you open your phone. After last year’s burnout, I’m moving more mindfully and basking in the short window of time that is the offseason. Looking forward to jumping into the 2026 wedding season rested and refreshed in a few short months!
