NANNY HOLIDAY BONUSES

As the holidays approach, many families start wondering, “Is a holiday bonus expected for our nanny?” — while nannies may be quietly asking the same thing.

Within the nanny industry, holiday bonuses are customary, though this can come as a surprise to families who don’t receive one in their own workplace.

A common guideline is to budget the equivalent of one to two weeks of pay, or roughly one week of pay for each year your nanny has been with your family.

The holidays are a wonderful time to show appreciation for the people who support your family day in and day out.

While there’s no one-size-fits-all approach, any bonus is always appreciated 🤍
