When I started making my frames I looked around and saw the same simple butt joint that everyone was using. After seeing so many, and realizing what a weak joint they afford, I decided that I would make a sturdier and more beautiful joint. There’s something special about the look of a traditional mitered frame. I’ve added an authentic spline (key) to the miter that gives it the unique pioneer look and adds strength to the joint as well. When someone walks by your sign they will not only notice the intriguing message you have displayed but also the fine craftsmanship done on your frame as well.
